“Our journey with Vegetal began in 2018 when my wife
experienced severe allergic reactions to conventional hair dyes. Despite trying
several products designed for sensitive skin and low chemical content, she
continued to experience skin irritation and discomfort.

After consulting a dermatologist and undergoing patch testing, it was confirmed
that she was allergic to several chemicals commonly found in traditional hair
dyes, including PPD.

Her dermatologist recommended Vegetal Hair Dye as a safer, PPD-free
alternative. At the time, the product was not available in South Africa, so we
sourced it internationally.

For more than eight years, she has used Vegetal without experiencing any side
effects. This life-changing experience inspired us to make the product
accessible to others in South Africa who may struggle with allergies, skin sensitivities,
or who simply prefer a gentle, plant-based hair colour solution.

Today, Herbal Roots Colour proudly brings Vegetal to South Africa to help
others experience the same confidence, comfort, and peace of mind that it
brought to our family.”
